Kevin Townsend, owner and operator of Townsend Outdoors has spent his life pursuing his passion for the outdoors. As a youngster, his father and grandfather introduced Kevin to the outdoors. Both were quail hunters and bird dog enthusiasts. His grandfather was a fishing guide on Toledo Bend Reservoir on the Texas-Louisiana border.

     After graduating from Trinity University in San Antonio, where Kevin spent way too much time afield in pursuit of deer, quail, turkey, and waterfowl and not near enough time in the library.  Happily, Kevin landed a dream job. For thirteen years Kevin was in the business of entertaining corporate clientele on hunting and fishing excursions all over the U.S.

When Kevin is not stomping the hills and prairies of Nebraska he can be found guiding his fly fishing clientele on the world-famous Green River in Utah. Kevin has appeared on ESPN’s Suzuki’s Great Outdoors, K-Mart Outdoors with Fuzzy Zoeller, Andy Mills Sportsman’s Journal, and TNN’s Great American Outdoors.

Kevin is also a NSCA registered Sporting Clays instructor. His passion and enthusiasm for the outdoors is absolutely contagious. He is a very experienced and patient teacher of both shotgunning and fly-fishing.
